1. Policy Statement

Prgenix is dedicated to respecting, promoting, and protecting fundamental human rights across all business operations. We firmly believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, equality, fairness, and mutual respect.

As a professional consulting organization delivering Regulatory Compliance, NABL, ESG, Quality, and Management Consulting services, Prgenix integrates ethical principles into every aspect of its operations. We hold ourselves to high ethical standards and are committed to safeguarding human rights across all engagements involving our employees, consultants, clients, supply chain partners, and broader communities.

Our Human Rights Policy is anchored in the following international frameworks and domestic laws:

  • UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs)
  • Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
  • ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
  • United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Principles
  • The Constitution of India
  • Applicable Indian Labour, Employment, Health & Safety, and Anti-Discrimination Statutes

2. Scope

This policy applies universally across Prgenix, including all:

  • Directors, Officers, and Management Personnel
  • Permanent, Temporary, and Contract Employees
  • Consultants, Retainers, Advisors, Trainees, and Interns
  • Vendors, Subcontractors, Service Providers, and Business Partners acting on behalf of Prgenix

We expect our suppliers and commercial partners to adhere to values and operational standards aligned with this policy.

3. Core Commitments

3.1 Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination

Prgenix is an equal opportunity employer. We prohibit discrimination in any employment process—including recruitment, hiring, compensation, performance evaluation, professional development, promotion, or termination—based on:

3.2 Prevention of Harassment & Workplace Violence

Prgenix maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward harassment, workplace violence, and abusive behavior. We actively prevent and address:

  • Sexual harassment (strictly managed in compliance with the PoSH Act)
  • Bullying, psychological intimidation, or verbal abuse
  • Discrimination, hate speech, or physical threats

All allegations will be thoroughly investigated with complete confidentiality and impartial due process, leading to decisive corrective action where required.

3.3 Prohibition of Forced Labour & Human Trafficking

Prgenix strictly prohibits forced, bonded, indentured, prison, or involuntary labour, as well as any form of human trafficking.

  • Employment is entirely voluntary, and employees are free to resign in accordance with their employment contracts.
  • Original personal identity documents, passports, or educational certificates are never retained as a condition of employment.

3.4 Prohibition of Child Labour

Prgenix maintains zero tolerance for child labour.

  • No individual under the statutory minimum legal working age prescribed by Indian law will be employed under any circumstances.
  • Strict age verification procedures are mandatorily conducted during the recruitment and onboarding process.

3.5 Fair Wages, Working Hours & Benefits

Prgenix ensures fair and competitive compensation packages. We commit to:

  • Providing wages that meet or exceed applicable statutory minimum wage standards.
  • Timely disbursement of salaries and legal statutory contributions (e.g., PF, ESIC, Gratuity).
  • Ensuring working hours, overtime, rest periods, public holidays, and leave entitlements strictly comply with relevant statutory frameworks.

3.6 Safe & Healthy Working Environment

We prioritize the physical, operational, and mental health of our workforce. Prgenix maintains a safe working environment by:

  • Identifying and mitigating operational hazards and workplace risks.
  • Implementing emergency response procedures and maintaining clear safety protocols.
  • Fostering ergonomic, safe, and healthy office and remote work environments.
  • Encouraging open reporting of unsafe conditions without fear of reprisal.

3.7 Freedom of Association & Expression

Prgenix respects the rights of personnel to express their views constructively, participate in discussions regarding their working conditions, join professional bodies, and exercise lawful freedom of association as permitted by applicable governing laws.

3.8 Privacy & Data Protection

Prgenix respects the fundamental right to privacy of its workforce, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. Personal and sensitive data is collected, processed, stored, and destroyed responsibly in strict compliance with applicable data privacy statutes and internal security protocols.

4. Governance & Responsibilities

  • Management Oversight: Management is responsible for driving compliance, communicating expectations, embedding these standards into day-to-day operations, and periodically reviewing policy effectiveness.
  • Employee Responsibility: Every employee is expected to uphold human rights values, treat colleagues with respect, adhere to this policy, and report potential violations in good faith.

5. Grievance Redressal & Whistleblower Protection

Prgenix provides accessible, transparent channels for employees and external stakeholders to report human rights concerns, policy breaches, or unethical practices.

  • Reporting: Concerns can be escalated directly to Management or designated HR/Compliance Leads.
  • Fair Process: Reports will be investigated promptly, impartially, and discreetly.
  • Non-Retaliation Protection: Prgenix strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who raises a concern or assists in an investigation in good faith.

6. Supply Chain & Business Partner Expectations

Prgenix expects its suppliers, vendors, contractors, and business partners to align with these human rights principles. We expect third parties to prohibit child and forced labour, maintain safe working environments, adhere to fair labour practices, and operate ethically. Non-compliance may lead to corrective action plans or termination of the commercial engagement.
